The Textile Designer will work designing brand accentuating jacquards and placement images, prints, yarn dyes and embroideries for apparel and accessories. Areas of Duty Knowledge of the Most Recent Activewear printing and textile design/technology trends Design brand enhancing unique, original allover and placement artwork, including antiques or appliqués at a Specialist ability level Prepares detailed art specs/mill sheets along with other artwork/design concept packs, such as repeats and dimensional references for factories and seller foundation Correspond with overseas sellers to perform progress in concept to production ready Manages and testimonials hit offs submitted for advancement (replicate, design, scale, colour location, printing technique/method, hand feel and overall quality and execution of style) Assess style/product constraints with designers and create product specific artwork Coordinate publish back to actions within a cohesive collection Develop multiple colour ways and prepare alternative layouts and scale helps advise coloring and soda trim colour options for our attire throughout the merchandising/assortment stage Can Help to upkeep the printing archive seasonally Work with design team to create CADS and visual materials for both demonstrations and lineup review meetings compilation of current style styles to the Athleta customer
